We're Live! The ASTA Open Beta has begun!

The time has come, the Open Beta is finally here! We invite all of you to join us and experience the fantastic MMOPRG gameplay and rich content ASTA has to offer. All you need to play is an active Webzen account which you can create here, if you do not already have one.

For the Open Beta, we have also updated the ASTA launcher, it now displays the latest news from the ASTA website, so you can always stay up-to-date! Additionally, we have enabled an automated system for players to reset the secondary password on their account. Please note: you will need a verified email address on your account to be able to use it! You can find the system here. http://www.webzen.com/coupon

We also invite you to visit our forums and participate in the discussion or leave us your feedback. You can also check out the guide section on our website for some more information on the game.

And while the Open Beta will not have any more character wipes, it is still a Beta, meaning there is a possibility that you might encounter the odd bug. In that case, we would ask that you please use the official bug reporting template, or refer to this thread on our forums.

Should you encounter any technical or other gameplay issues, we highly recommend that you checkout the “Common Issues & Solutions” thread in our Help & Feedback forum. This thread is regularly updated with any helpful information we ourselves and other players are able to develop.

Launch Events

Of course, the launch of an Open Beta is a special occasion and must be celebrated accordingly. To that end, we’ve got a couple of special launch events lined up:
Weekend Giveaways

During the opening weeks of the Open Beta, we will have special giveaways each weekend, where all players can grab some extra Soul Stones simply by logging in to the game at some point during the following time frames:
March 4th 5:00pm (UTC) – March 7th 0:00am (UTC)
March 11th 5pm (UTC) – March 14th 0:00am (UTC)
If you’ve logged in your account during these times, you will find your event reward in your Event Storage that you can open via the ”Shop Storage” menu entry in the bottom right corner (in the “Shop” menu) or the corresponding hotkey (default: Shift+B or Shift+I).

Login Event

Speaking of logging in, all players who log in on at least 10 of the days between March 2nd (after Open Beta begins) and March 15th (before the regular scheduled maintenance) will receive some bonus rewards.
Server-First bonus

As you probably know, ASTA features so-called server-first achievements, special feats that can only be earned by a single character on an entire server!
To sweeten the deal and spur the competition, we will be keeping an official scoreboard and offering additional rewards for each achievement claimed! Any player obtaining one of these elusive achievements can get their names featured in our “Hall of Fame”, and will get a Safeguard Stone Crate containing a random enhancement safeguard stone as an extra prize!

To claim your server-first achievement and go down in the ASTA hall of fame, simply post your claim (optionally with a screenshot as proof) in this forum thread. All claims will be checked by us and when a claim has been verified, the player will be sent their reward and the hall-of-fame list will be updated accordingly!


Starter Packs

Finally, we wanted to give you some additional details about our Open Beta Starter Packs that were mentioned in our most recent OBT Preview where we discussed our in-game shop.

All players purchasing any of the starter packs will receive an additional bonus when the offer is over: An exclusive title! Purchasing multiple packs does not mean you will receive multiple titles.
